Entrance to Mdina

This is the entrance to Mdina, which is the old capital city of malta. I had once posted a picture of Mdina from the outside, I will be posting some photos from the inside of Mdina aswell, hope you like them.

Upper Gardens - 'il-Barraka ta Fuq'

Valletta Harbour no.2

This photo taken from the same location as yesterday's photo but looking onto the east side of the harbour. On the other side of the harbour one can see the three cities. The canons are found in the lower gardens, what in maltese we call 'il-barraka t' isfel'.

Valletta Harbour

This is the valletta harbour, the photo has been taken from the upper gardens overlooking the west side of the harbour. I will post a couple more shots I took from here.

Office of the Prime Minister

This building is found in Valletta and is the office of the Prime Minister. It is a very old building.

5 New Saints

Church bells wouldn't stop ringing today.......... according to my friend Gabriella the bells where ringing because these two days there are five new priests world wide which will be proclaimed saints and one of them is maltese. There will be lots of prayers going around and the churches all over the island would be lit. This is the Birzebbuga church.

This is the entrance to the three cities , Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea.

Tallest building in Malta!

This is St.Julians Seafront and that is the tallest building in Malta. St. Julians is the nightlife area .

St.George's Chapel

This Chapel is found in St.Georges bay Birzebbuga.

Pretty Bay

This is for Berzy who was born in Malta and brought up in pretty bay and now lives in Australia. I will also take a picture of how the buildings at the promenade look today, so that you can compare to the old photo you have on your blog of 1900's. This photo was taken last week at around 6pm.
