The road you can see next to the buildings on the right hand side of the photo is the main road leading in and out of Birzebbuga. Opposite on the left side is the valley what in Maltese we call 'il-wied'. Also you can see boats which are placed here in the winter and in summer this is used as a car park.

gizzabit, wied is a valley
Thank you dina...And God bless.. gizzabit means can i have some.. It's the local dialect language called Geordie... from Newcastle upon Tyne in England
all i can see is the wonderful landscape, Good photo!
really awesome shot!
There is so much going on in this photo! I love the colors, the boats, the incredible sky, and of course the beautiful old buildings.
That's a great photo
I have never seen that part of Birzebbuga from that angle. That road going uphill is called " it- teghla tal Geru " which leads you to Ghar Dalam and Bir id-Deheb.
Its many years since I've been there and can notice many new buildings. Also on the left hand side of the photo, just above one of the boats is a WW2 concrete pill-box or we used to call them gun-post.
Thanks
