Floriana Parish

This church is renowned in Malta for the many paintings by the late Maltese painters Emvin Cremona and Paul Camilleri Cauchi. Various other works of art include the red velvet sacred vestment and altar cloths, silverware,the canopy over the main altar and the Statue of the Patron Saint St.Publius.

An interesting building with a background in art.

I wonder what goes on those round pedastals in the foreground? It looks like something people would stumble on and fall down.
