Not so sunny Malta........
A low pressure system over southern Italy and extending towards the central Mediterranean was moving towards the Adriatic Sea as a ridge of high pressure extended from the Atlantic towards Algeria and Libya.
Yesterday wind was very strong to gale force, becoming stronger by the evening.

I just love the sea when it looks like that! I could look at it for hours...from a safe distance that is!
That's long ago I saw the sea that rough. I remember travelling to Gozo on such rough seas with waves higher than the boat. Wonder how I ever dared to board a boat in that kind of weather. Guess that's the joy of being young and not afraid.
Get the surfboard out!
