Here's another aerial shot of Birzebbuga, this time I am showing part of the Malta Freeport and the Oil tanking.

I wonder why so much oil is stored so close to the water? I guess it is convenient to put on ships but a spill would ruin a lot of life for the creatures in the sea.

It's so huge isn't it, no wonder it's such an eyesore to our beautiful bay!
Abe - sadly most of the sealife has been ruined already while the freeport was being built.
The continued problem and compromise between our need of eneregy and ecology!
