Pope Benedict in Malta

Pope Benedict's 27-hour visit to Malta came to an end yesterday evening. Here you can see the Pope in the Pope mobile going through the village of Gudja just before he left Malta. I couldn't get a good shot for two reasons : a) baby was sleeping on me b) I only had my point and shoot with me :( but alas it was a nice experience.

This is a very good result under the circumstances.

I got a photo of my wife with the Pope at Easter Mass 7 years ago. It was at St. Peter's Square. My wife was in the foreground, then there were about 50,000 people in the crowd, and then the Pope was up front.

But nevertheless, it was my wife and the Pope in the same photo.

Ah so that is what the Pope mobile looked like, I kept hearing them talking about it on the radio. Glad you had a good experience.
