Views from inside the silent city ....

Behind those handsome bastions sprawls a graceful and elegant city.

I used to go to school in Mdina in the late 1960s! Not exactly yesterday... but Mdina is the kind of place that does not change much, even after centuries, let alone mere decades. Now that I live in Australia, these pictures bring back memories of walking from the bus stop at Saqqajja, over the drawbridge, and along narrow streets to the square in front of the cathedral. Cold and windy, especially in November!
