End of cold war monument in Birzebbuga

My friend Laetitia saw on one of the other fellow bloggers a monument that reminded her of one we have ourselves here in Birzebbuga. This monument marks the end of the cold war, Mr G. Bush (USA) and Mr M. Gorbachev had met here in 1989.

That was a wonderful ending but I'm afraid it won't last all that long. Parhaps we should invite Putin and GW Bush back to your place to soften them up.
