Sparrow - Malta

Sparrows are small passerine birds. In general, sparrow tend to be small, plump brown or grey birds with short tails and short powerful beaks. They are seed eaters and also consume small insects. There are 35 species worldwide.

Oh this sparrow looks just like those here that we have named House Sparrows. It looks great.

Amazing little creatures birds are and every other different creatures in the air under the sea and on land and when you think of how many different species with different colors sizes and habitats you begin to wonder WOW can all this been a cosmic accident.. and thats not looking at the trees the fruits vegetables and the Flowers WOW. great photo thanx 4 sharing it with Uz

i started reading the book of St Mark first then St John ...

it's also fascinating to find Malta mentioned in the New Testament book of Acts/Chapter 28 from verses 1-10.. St Paul & Co were shipwrecked just of the coast of Malta after the ship struck a sand bar and was grounded.. Gripping stuff..
