Recently I went to a wedding and usually the cars carrying the family of the bride and groom are modern cars. This couple had these lovely old cars. Obviously I did not have my good camera with me but only my phone,so I excuse myself for the quality. I am not a car expert but I think these where Lincoln cars, maybe around 1950's.

Thanks for visiting. Like your photos, good reminders of a holiday spent there. I loved travelling on the buses too but then thats one of the things that Malta is famous for. Cheers.
superbe ces voitures, j'adore le design, de vraies voitures de collection
superb these cars, I adore the design, of true cars of collection
Those are great beauties :) I love vintage cars. They are simply gorgeous.
Really nice looking cars! Late 50' or early 60's? I'm not an expert.
Van you rent these cars for special events like marriage etc. or are they their own cars?
These are old cars. They are familiar to us as we were just getting around in cars that looked like them. Patty and I got married in 1955.
Type in 1950 Lincoln in Yahoo or Google under "images" to see what they looked like.

Have you ever seen a Great Blue Heron?

What charming old cars. It must have been a nice touch at the wedding!
Nice cars!
Hi! I just hopped over from cooking ninja's blog. Those cars remind me of my old neighbour who collects vintage cars - lovely blog you have here!
they really look great for cell phone pictures, cool cars.
Glad I came back and found some beautiful pictures here; loved the old cars in particular!

Yes, cool cars. These were around in my high school days!!!!
These cars are beautiful! A dream for a photographer!
I stumbled across your side by coincidence. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Yeah, yeah, those cars would look great during a wedding. It's a really nice spin on an old concept, when you think about it: the cars themselves look formal thanks to their classic roots, and you can associate them with the old carriages that brides would ride in back in the days when no automobiles existed. A blast from the past, in a way.

Those cars are like fine wine. They mature in their own special way, and thanks to our modern cars being the norm, the old-school designs provide a distinct appeal that you would not see today. It will be wonderful to think that in the future our current stock of cars may be treated like classics as well...
