'Tal-Mara'

First of all I wish you all a happy weekend. Today I am posting photos of the maltese coastline. This part is called 'Tal-Mara' meaning it belongs to the woman. I am afraid I do not know the reason behind the name, I tried to look it up but found nothing. Hope you enjoy the photos which are once again provided by Laetitia.

Is it named that because like any coast line and any women it is unpredictable and as a beauty all of it's own. ... or is just because it's craggy? ;)

It is known as "tal-mara" because if you look hard enough at the cliff edge, you can see it's shaped like a woman.
Have a great weekend to all bloggers!

fAs Marie6 said.It is known as "tal-mara" because if you look at the cliff from a certain angle,a shape of a woman is revealed.Next time you are on the boat you should check it out.
