the cart and it's trip.....

In the early years the Maltese builders used to transport the hand cut pieces of stone with this cart and it was called ''il-vjagg'' which literally means a trip.

Malta Limestone Heritage is situated in the old village of Siggiewi. It is a family run enterprise and was opened in May 2002. For further information with regards to the complex you can visit their website

cette charrette est très belle. Elle me rappelle mon enfance et le temps du ramassage des noix.
the cart is very beautiful. It reminds me of my childhood and the time for collecting nuts.

Thank you, Dina for showing us Malta with your beautiful blog. I've had the pleasure of visiting your fascinating country years ago on a trip from Naples to Tripoli. It's great to learn more about it through your eyes.
