Marsaxlokk

Marsaxlokk is pronounced 'Mar-sa-shlock'. This fishing village has one of the oldest ports in Malta and is the largest with 250 fishing vessels. It's considered to be the most photographed village in Malta. The church you see there is dedicated to Lady of the Rosary 'The Madonna of Pompeii'.

It is odd to see the cars right out on the beach there. Nothing like that here in Tasmania!

Is there a shortage of car parks?
