Boat hoists - Marsaxlokk

This lifts boats to shore. I took this photo yesterday whilst on a journey to get some good photos for my blog.

If you live in the Nordic countries, you have to bring your boat ashore each autumn to prevent it from the ice. At least you don't have that problem

Hi Dina,
Thanks for your comment on my blog.
I survived the Greek fires. Actually I was in the Islands (Kos, Crete and Mykonos) where there were no fires; only the island of Evia was somehow affected. I’m glad to be back and catch up your posts!
It seems the sky was threatenning some rain in Malta. Did you catch something?
As I’m late, my posts at Blogtrotter are still in Bali 2005. Hope you enjoy it, anyhow!
Have a great weekend!

It is amazing. I just watched a television program last night about the largest boat lift in the world and it showed them lifting and turning this giant wooden boat around.

Nice photo.
