Merchant's Street - Valletta

This is Merchant's Street, there's a street market everyday from Monday to Saturday.

I looked at this enlarged photograph and just marveled at the crowded streets and so narrow and parking is allowed. It just shows how some people live where they live and how different some other people live where they live. If I did know know your blog I would never ever get to see Malta. I used to watch newsreels about Malta during World War II. A long time ago.

abraham, I think it is such a pity that they are allowed to park in these streets, I think cars should be banned from entering Valletta.

Morning Dina... still loving the pics of Malta... Should have some old ones on my blog shortly if I can remember what Dive has taught me, pity we did not think to take more when we were there.... but I have a few...

I must admit the cars do rather spoil the view, If I remember rightly they used to deny cars access after a time in the evenings, and everyone used to walk around and chat, mothers with babies and children, I always thought that was a lovely idea....

Very cool photo- - lots of beautiful energy in the marketplace, and I like how all that energy is balanced by the calmness of the sea.
