Statue of Queen Victoria in Valletta

This Statue is placed in the centre of this lovely square facing the Caffe Cordina , some other shops and the building behind is the old library of Malta. One can sit here and enjoy a milkshake or coffee together with some delicious 'pastizzi' (rikotta or pea cakes), whilst feeding pigeons !!!!!!!

I’ve been in Malta for 2 weeks last summer.
I like the place and the people very much.

Your photos are very nice. You made me remember a lot of sweet memories in Malta.

Hi Dina, Just came across your blog. Some great photos indeed. Just a note about your caption with the Queen's statue photo - the building behind is the National Library of Malta. If you have not been yet, I suggest a visit (if you are reasearch or history oriented).
