Malta is a southern European country and consists of an archipelago situated centrally in the Mediterranean Sea
It all looks so quiet and closed up: I remember those lanterns on either side of the dark door - I think it's close to the house where the French leader was defenestrated by an angry mob in the very late 18th century. it's so quiet in Mdina... I remember listening to the sound of my own footsteps echoing around me off the stone walls.
Pictures of your architecture are always my favorites! Thanks and keep the photos coming!
The first photo you have of the blue door is my ABSOLUTE favorite in all of Mdina. Every time I go I have to walk by that door...I don't even know how many photos I have of it haha. Great pictures as always!
I loved Mdina! Especially one night, when I looked from the walls to the island and it was all foggy and mysterious. I spent one week in Buggiba.
