This is one of the five public gardens found in the village of Zejtun. Gnien San Girgor was built in the early 70s. It's the biggest garden found in Zejtun and enjoys one of the most magnificent views of the southeast of Malta. In this garden one finds an open theatre.

Wow - yet another location I have never been to on that tiny island. Malta is like a tardis: it holds much more than its small size suggests.
I agree with Rosanne, there are so many places that I have never heard of here and every time you post another Loree its a surprise. Thanks for keeping us informed! one of these days I'll have to make a list and go check out a few of these well kept secrets.
I apologize for calling you Loree when I posted earlier today :(
I don't know where my head was at, reading too many blogs at once perhaps, oops!
I've been driving by this garden so many times and yet I've never stopped to explore it. Must take Zack there one of these days...
Some lovely gardens! I love, love your blog front page header photo!
