'Skuna' The bigger fishing boat

Following on to yesterday's post , today I am posting a photo of the bigger boat (there are bigger fishing boats than this) that at the moment is being used for Tuna and Swordfish fishing. I want to try and go sometime in the evenings when this boat returns from the open seas of the mediterranean full of fish and fishermen!! Good weekend everyone.

I'd like to say that the eye on the fishermen's boats (from yesterday)is to ward off bad luck and help them to make a good catch. Beautiful photos Dina.

since Laetitia mentioned the eye, I would also like to say that the small red and white cross on the front of the boat is the Maltese cross (for those of you who don't know).

Are the fish that are caught, eaten? I should hope so.

I like the picture of the fishing boat.

abraham, the fish that are caught are sold and eaten yes. I like tuna mostly, but both tuna and swordfish are sold easily.
