For this I am posting two photos taken yesterday from my camera. Earlier this year I posted a photo of the prickly pear tree, now here is the prickly pear tree in full bloom with the fruit ready to be cut (first photo) second photo is the fruit itself once the thick prickly skin is removed. The fruit has a lovely taste and must be kept in the fridge for a more refreshing taste.

"300" Congratulations ! I didn't know you could actually eat Prickly Pear. I remember them from the old movie Jungle Book.
