Paternal Love !!!

This is my dad with my twin girls, (my son can just be seen wearing a red hat) on our boat, last sunday, enjoying a swim at our favourite bay, Hofriet in Delimara. My dad was pretending to be praying before jumping in as he was "scared" it might be too cold and obviously my girls were laughing at him for being so "foolish".
I decided to post this photo today as I think the special love between a grandparent and his grandchildren really stands out in this shot. I especially like Niamh's loving smile as she looks at him, her special grandad!

What a beautiful photo. I know how much my grandchildren miss their grandad; he always made them laugh and always knew the right thing to say when they had worries.

I too, like Niamh's loving smile but her twin sister is so sweet as well. Love to see a happy photo of a family :)

You already made the remarks I would have liked to do... I'm also a happy grandfather and I know what a smile from a grandchild makes to you. This is fantastic photo that you must keep forever, for yourself, for your lovely daughters...!

Wonderful photograph! Not everyone has a relationship like that so you are right to treasure that your children do. Lucky grandfather, lucky grandchildren and you in the middle! Love the pic regardless - such a happy summer photograph.

It's a very sweet image and you're in right, enlarging the photo, Niamh (right?) is plenty of love in her glance and smile watching at him

This is my first visit to your beautiful blog. I've always been intrigued by Malta being such a Catholic nation, such a long and fascinating history. I've always wanted to visit! I've added you to my blogroll and will visit often! God Bless...
